Dr. Carpenter is dedicated to providing world-class foot & ankle services with home town compassion. His calling is to help people of all ages to recover and return to their active lifestyles. He has extensive training in the diagnosis and management of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, and muscles) of the foot & ankle. The comprehensive knowledge in the highly specialized areas of podiatric medicine includes arthroscopy and sports medicine, total joint replacement and complex joint reconstruction, fracture care and complete foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Carpenter’s expertise allows the ability to create individualized treatment plans utilizing leading-edge skills and techniques.

We combine clinical expertise with a compassionate treatment philosophy, treating the whole person instead of simply treating the affected area. Dr. Carpenter prefers non-surgical solutions. If surgery is the right approach our team has skills in the latest techniques to effectively correct musculoskeletal foot & ankle problems.

Dr. Carpenter has been practicing in Wise County since 1996. He came back to the county in which he grew up to provide unsurpassed foot and ankle care to the community. Dr. Carpenter now offers state-of-the-art management of musculoskeletal problems of the foot & ankle with comprehensive care including on-site foot and ankle urgent care, ambulatory surgery, advanced imaging, and physical and occupational therapy.
